The fifth Domearc home in Kerametköy continues our work in the area while establishing an identity through its own distinctive form. Approximately 200 m² in size, the project consists of two symmetrical side wings and a generous central living space aligned with the lake.
A centrally placed fireplace becomes the focus of warmth and atmosphere at the heart of the home. Broad glazing brings a strong visual connection with nature indoors. Morning mist over the lake and the golden reflections of sunset can be enjoyed from within, with Lake İznik spread out below.
The building rests on a stone base that relates to the local setting. Above, timber construction in anthracite and dark walnut tones creates a contemporary expression. The contrast gives the project a distinct character while remaining in harmony with the landscape’s natural colours.
The plan prioritises both function and the relationship with the view. Private rooms in the two wings retain openness and privacy, while the central living space provides a meeting point for the whole home.
