Pierre Loti Timber Mansion

On the route to Pierre Loti Hill in Eyüpsultan, beside Kaşgari Murtaza Efendi Tekke, this building was brought back to life through reconstruction. The traditional timber residence had been destroyed by fire, leaving only foundation remains. A comprehensive reconstruction returned it to the city’s architectural memory. The project preserves the area’s protected historic residential character and transforms an abandoned plot into a carefully crafted building.
