Set among olive groves in Kerametköy, Orhangazi, Bursa, this building expresses Domearc Architecture’s distinctive vision and sensitive approach to place. Views of Lake İznik and a generous terrace offer an independent way of living closely connected to nature.
The exterior is simple and sympathetic to its surroundings. Inside, warmth, openness and carefully balanced aesthetics take the lead. The ceiling height and roof form give the interior its character, revealing the natural texture and structural expression of timber. Carefully positioned beams and a rustic pendant light add to the atmosphere.
White walls contrast with natural timber floors and ceilings, allowing light to move freely through the space. A green modular kitchen and work area occupy one corner, contributing to a palette inspired by nature. An upper-level loft adds both a spatial and a practical dimension to the design.
More than a house, Kerametköy III reflects a desire for a peaceful, productive life with respect for nature. Domearc brings the calm of lake views and the expressive possibilities of rural architecture together under one roof.
