Built on a substantial stone base, this project turns a connection with nature into an emotional as well as an architectural experience. Two bedrooms, an airy living room and a generous veranda with both semi-open and enclosed areas bring practical planning together with a considered aesthetic.
Panoramic lake views reach into the home’s indoor and outdoor living spaces. From sunrise to sunset, reflections on the water accompany the changing light like an ever-shifting picture. The views can be enjoyed from the veranda and through the broad openings inside.
Dark walnut and anthracite tones give the façade a refined, contemporary presence. Natural materials and the enduring character of the stone base anchor the building firmly and respectfully in its setting.
The semi-open and enclosed veranda was designed to extend outdoor enjoyment across different weather conditions. It offers a place for social gatherings, quiet morning coffee or reading at the end of the day, allowing the pace of life to follow nature.
This is a home where natural materials, views and architectural detail work together to create a sense of balance, calm and permanence.
